The University welcomes International students and researchers.
The process of selection is always based on research excellence and on the alignment of the candidate's research interest with that of the chosen department and supervisor(s). It is therefore important to seek dialogue with the chosen department and supervisor to ensure research interests are aligned. If encountering difficulties, guidance for the application process is available at Departments and within the University's networks and initiatives.
A number of funding opportunities are available every year across the entire University. Applicants wishing to apply for funding to carry out their studies at Cambridge from any funding scheme are encouraged to contact potential supervisors and their chosen department well before the funding application deadline to discuss their applications.
