Developing Global Norms for Sharing Data and Results during Public Health Emergencies

In view of the Recent Ebola emergency and in anticipation of future outbreaks of disease, WHO advocates for a coordinated and open approach to research  results and data in order to minimize the negative impact of outbreak.

This  Centre is funded by the Wellcome Trust. In close collaboration with The Wellcome Trust Sanger Institute, it supports researchers working in public health and tropical medicine to develop their careers, and foster interchange between institutions in the UK and those based in low- and middle-income countries.
