Dr Caroline Trotter

Biography:

Caroline is an Infectious Disease Epidemiologist with a focus on vaccine evaluation. NTD relevant research relates to (1) the control of epidemic meningitis in the African meningitis belt and (2) increasing access to rabies vaccines in LMICs. I collaborate with and am funded by WHO for both meningitis and rabies projects. Methods include mathematical modelling, health economics, design and analysis of field studies.

Between 2013 and 2018, the Centre supported collaborative partnerships and scientific training activities in basic biomedical and health-related research. This was achieved through coordinated cross-faculty research across departments and research institutes in Cambridge including The Wellcome Trust Sanger Institute
