The Wellcome Trust-Cambridge Centre for Global Health Research builds on Cambridge University's strength in interdisciplinary research and collaborative partnership. The Centre is a network involving all interested departments at the University and is based at the Department of Pathology in the Cambridge City Centre and at the Cambridge Biomedical Campus including Addenbrooke's Hospital

This  Centre is funded by the Wellcome Trust. In close collaboration with The Wellcome Trust Sanger Institute, it supports researchers working in public health and tropical medicine to develop their careers, and foster interchange between institutions in the UK and those based in low- and middle-income countries.
